FRESH BREWED FARM BEER

Jack Russell Farm Brewery was originally built in 1996 by Terry Bonham to brew in the traditional English style. David Coody and his family bought the brewery in 2010 and brought with them a West Coast influence and a passion for innovating classic beer styles. A local favorite, Jack Russell is one of the oldest continuously-operating breweries in the greater Sacramento area.

This destination brewery features a tasting room with year-round and seasonal beer, cider, mead, and wine. Visitors are greeted by an open beer garden patio and picnic grounds overlooking the farm. Perfect for bringing the whole crew (Fido too!), to enjoy the fresh country air and picturesque scenery.

ALWAYS FARM FRESH

We currently have 30 beverages on tap, including +/- 14 Beers, 6 Ciders, 3 hard Seltzers, 5 Wines and some amazing non-alcoholic teas brewed from fresh ingredients around the farm.

Lovely location. The beers are really good. I love thier red. There is wine and mead. Maybe ciders too. They have food trucks and live music there at different times.

Cool location, nice selection of both beers and ciders. Tastings were offered, always a nice touch...and the servers were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Tasted their vanilla stout and the red -- opted for the latter. Well done on a style that's not always easy to nail. My GF opted for one of their VEGAN Peaches & Cream slushies -- which tasted amazing! -- and then a boysenberry hard cider which was also very good.

Nice grounds with tables and umbrellas, taco truck on site as your food source.

Only drawback was the presence of a lot of kids, many more or less left on their own to roam and mar what otherwise was a really nice experience.

I hope the cave is open this year. I wanna say like the last three years it’s been closed when we went due to short staffing. I use to love going and this was one of my all time favorite stops!!! Really hope they have it open early in the season this year!

CUTE place overlooking the most beautiful pine trees, tucked away with fun seasonal beers, seltzers, and alcoholic slushees. They had a Mexican food truck when I went for delicious bites. I'd love to come back & soak up all of their beautiful flowers and outdoor seating!

My husband and I went to check out this brewery on Memorial Day. Big area for picnic tables. They offer beer and hard cider. I ended up having the blueberry cider and that was delicious. My husband had red ale. Nice staff will be back again.

Good selection of beers, ciders, wine and a mead. There's also food onsite and a good view. Plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy the outdoors. Pet friendly now.
